- Maintain a quiet, well-ventilated environment.
- Keep a clean basin and tissues within reach. When uncomfortable, use relaxation techniques, guided imagery, hypnosis, music therapy, and/or television.
- Brush your teeth or rinse your mouth after you vomit.
- Avoid moving suddenly; lie still.
- Identify irritants and triggers that could make nausea worse (strong odours from food, plants, perfume, etc.) After nausea has been relieved, start taking in small amounts of clear fluids (ginger ale), then crackers. Slowly progress to a soft diet.
- See your primary care provider to see if you are a candidate for medications that will help control the nausea or a technique called "transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation" (for chemo patients)
- Consider learning acupressure, applying pressure at points P6 ST36 (on both sides). These are located on the back of the wrist and by the knee, but you need to use an exact location.

How to Excel As a Student in England
Tired of getting bad reports from school? Do you live in England where the education system is totally different from Americans? Are you going into Year 7 or higher? Then this is the Wiki Article for you.
- Get good stationery. To 'excel' as a student you need to act like a student. As a student you have to be organised. A basic way to get organised is to buy stationery. Stationery can be bought anywhere but if you want to buy cheap good quality school supplies I would suggest Wilkinsons. You need to buy the obvious: Pens; Black, blue and red (35p for a pack with 5 blue 4 black and 2 red.) Pencils; I suggest the normal pencils (more reliable than lead pencils.) Rubbers; 9p each in Wilkinsons Sharpeners, Highlighters, Punched Pockets, Folders, Dividers.
- Have the right attitude. There are five most important years after year 7 which are Year 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13. So the attitude must be focused and motivated. The biggest incentive, yes bigger than money is SUCCESS. If you work your hardest in these years you will have success. So be optmistic.
- Do your best work. To excel is just to do well, no even better to do your best. So the work must be your best. So the basics are to make sure that all work is well presented and are on time.

How to Fold a Shirt
- Button the top button and the third button.
- Lay the shirt face-down on the folding surface. You should be looking at the back of your shirt.
- Smooth out any puckers or wrinkles, so the shirt is flat front and back.
- The first fold is the right side. Fold about one-third of the body toward the center of the shirt. The fold line starts at the center of the shoulder and ends at the tail. You should see the back of your shirt with about one-third of the front folded to the back.
- Neatly fold the sleeve forward, creating an angled fold at the shoulder. The sleeve should line up with the edge of the first body fold.
- Fold the left side in the same manner.
- Make a fold of several inches of the shirt tail.
- Fold up the bottom half of the partially folded shirt. The tail should be just behind the collar of the shirt now.
- Turn the entire shirt over. You should have a neatly folded shirt as you typically see at a professional laundry or clothing store.

How to Fix a Hospital Restraint Bed With 4 Point Restraint
- Put on latex gloves and place bed sheet on the hospital bed, at the foot of the bed lift mattress and tie end of the sheets in the back of the mattress in a knot, this is done so that once the bed is in use the sheet stays on the bed. Make sure the bed is lying in a flat position.
- Take the straps on the blue restraint and lap them through and around the second hole on the frame of the bed where the arms rail rest. Pull the restraint strap down until it is at the edge of the bed.
- Wrap the restraint around the bottom end of the bedrail and put the end of the restraint strap through the mouth of the metal clasp. Pull the straps through until the restraint is tight and lock it by pressing the mouth of the metal clasp close until you hear a click sound. Do this with all four of the restraints on the opposite side of the bed (red with red and blue with blue).
- Check and make sure the restraints are in proper location with the blue at the middle of the bed where a patient arms will rest and the red colored restraints at the foot of the bed where the legs will be.
- Check to make sure all restraints on the bed are secure before allowing the bed for use.

How to Begin High School
Becoming a freshman in high school may be overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be. You'll find that high school is not as lonely and stark as it may seem at first. It will have a lot to offer in the areas of activities, classes, friends, and privileges.
- Gather information. Attend any freshman orientation sessions. Take advantage of this time to meet the other freshmen, get a tour of the building, and ask any questions you may have.
- Orient yourself. Most high schools usually don't have a specific day scheduled for new students to come and look around the building, so just go over when you have time. Call ahead to make sure it's alright. Obtain a map of the school, and familiarize yourself with it. Locate your classrooms, and plan out your routes to and from classes. Walk from one class to another, remembering the way to go. Find and practice opening your locker, and make sure you know where any other important rooms are, such as the library, gym, cafeteria, nurse's office, and main office.
- Prepare yourself. Realize that you may be picked on to a certain extent by some upperclassmen. In most cases, don't bother taking it personally - the handful of upperclassmen who might pick on you have maturity issues, self-esteem issues, or simply I'm-Kind-of-a-Big-Deal issues. If you're insightful enough to search for this kind of article, it's very likely that you also have the insight to realize that you are better than those few upperclassmen, and, consequently, should not waste your own time giving them a false sense of self-satisfaction by being offended. The majority of this sort of watered-down bullying is harmless, but if you have any concerns (for instance, if the bullying is not watered-down), feel free to talk to a teacher or your school counselor.
- Make friends. Especially with people in other grades. They may prevent a fair amount of "hazing," and they will often tell you about their personal experiences with classes and teachers.
- Get involved. Go to some after-school activities that sound interesting, such as music, sports, drama, or other clubs. It's easier to make friends if you share the same interests.
- Be humble. You're a freshman. There's nothing so socially repulsive as someone who thinks they're "all that".
- Get perspective. Although as an eighth grader you were at the top of the school, you are now the little fish in the ocean again. Do not pretend that you know everything. If an older student gives you advice, listen to it, and follow it if it seems logical. Pay attention so that you will come to recognize when it's time to be serious and when it's alright to be relaxed. Don't let the older students push over you, stand up for your rights as a unique individual.
- Enjoy yourself. High school only happens once, so you may as well make the best of it.
- Call your friends over the summer! Ask them when and where they want to meet up in the High school! You don't want to lose touch with them!
- Take advantage of any study breaks. You'll have more homework than in middle school, so anytime you have a few minutes to work on it is good.
- A lot of schools require students to wear ID badges. It's for your safety, even if it causes you inconvenience. Even though it may seem silly, just wear it. After a while, you won't even notice it.
- Be true to yourself. Try not to get caught up in the popularity contests, cat fights, bickering, etc. Avoiding these situations makes school much simpler. Also, simply don't get involved with drama-prone people. This will also make your life easier, because as they run out of people to fight with, they'll start arguing with you.
- Expand your horizons and meet new people. This sounds cliché, but it's actually a good idea. Meeting new people sometimes can give you a wider perspective on life. Also, in high school your middle school friends may not always be in the same classes as you- so it never hurts to find other people to talk with.
- Memorize the school layout as soon as possible. It's not fun being late to a class because you couldn't find it.
- Make friends with teachers, especially the librarian if you plan to study or do work after school is out. Teachers tend to be more lenient with pupils they have a relationship with. Be bright and courteous, even if you usually aren't.
- Don't judge others by their stereotypes. Goths, emos, preps, jocks, and geeks are normal people, just with different ideologies. Remember that everyone is an individual with their own thoughts and wishes, and that everyone just wants to be happy. Remind yourself of this before you make fun of someone.
- If you do happen to stumble upon some drama, or your friends decide you're not worthy of their presence, just remember that it may seem like the end of the world, but it's not. High school isn't all about friends. They have a lot to do with it, but high school's meant to be a place of learning. Take this new social situation as an academic awakening. Your grades might actually improve without all of the distractions.
- Join a club, and be sure to befriend the teacher in charge of it. They may put you in charge of activities or appoint you to officer positions. This will help you get friends and improve your college application. If nothing else, avoid antagonizing the adviser.
- If you have an older sibling that go to high school, use it as your advantage and ask them questions and for advice.

How to Make a Hospital Corner
- Anyone who's ever worked in a hospital knows how to make a bed. Anyone who's been in the armed forces knows how to make a bed. For that matter, anyone who's ever gone to camp knows how to make a bed (those counselors can be a lot like military personnel themselves). So how come so many beds in this world are made so sloppily? Time to put a stop to all of this!
- Step 1 - Put on the bottom sheet
- Sometimes you have a fitted sheet, and sometimes you don't. If you have a fitted sheet, with elastic on the ends and pre-formed corners...
- Stretch the sheet over two corners at one end of the mattress.
- Walk around the bed and stretch the sheet over the other two corners of the mattress.
- If you have two flat sheets, take one of them now and...
- Hold the long end of the sheet (the side without a hemmed edge) with both hands, and stand next to the bed.
- Flip the sheet out over the bed, so that it billows out and spreads over the mattress. Position the sheet so that it hangs evenly over all sides of the mattress. Make sure the long edges are parallel to the floor and hang below the bottom of the mattress.
- Take the short end of the sheet, and tuck it snugly under the end of the mattress. Make sure that the sheet lies smoothly between the box spring and mattress.
- Go around to the opposite (short) end of the bed and pull the sheet taut. Tuck the sheet under the mattress as above, maintaining the tension you've created.
- Move back around to the long side of the bed. Tuck the edge of the sheet under the mattress. This should create a vertical fold but won't if the short edge of the sheet is bunched under the end of the mattress.
- Go to the other side of the bed and repeat the last step. This is where you can tug firmly on the sheet to create a taut surface.
- Step 2 - Put on the top sheet
- Now you're going to create a nice, tight confining area to slide into at night. Your feet will be unable to shift around, and you can get some small idea of what a straight jacket feels like as you fall asleep.
- If you've just used a flat sheet as your bottom sheet, you'll realize that the top sheet goes on in almost exactly the same way.
- Find one long end of the sheet (a side without a hemmed edge) and stand next to the bed. Generally, the sheet will have one edge with a hem of at least 2", and that end should go towards your head.
- Flip the sheet out over the bed, so that it billows out and spreads over the mattress. Position the sheet so that it hangs evenly over both long sides of the mattress but has extra length at the foot end. The end of the sheet where your head will be should reach the top edge of the mattress.
- Take the bottom end of the sheet and tuck it snugly under the end of the mattress. Make sure that the sheet is flat between the box spring and the bottom sheet. Move back to the long side of the bed. Tuck the sheet under the mattress, so that a vertical fold is created at the bottom end of the mattress. Tuck the remainder of the sheet under the mattress, but leave a foot or two of it loose at the top. This will be folded back over your blanket to form a nice, soft edge that sits next to your face.
- Repeat with the other side of the mattress, creating a taut surface by tugging firmly.
- Step 3 - Put on the blankets
- You're almost finished now. All that's left are the blankets and pillows.
- Step to the side of the bed, and flip the blanket so that it billows over the bed. Position it so that there will be room for your head and shoulder, with the remainder hanging evenly over the other three sides.
- Repeat the steps that you took with the top sheet, first tucking the bottom under the mattress, then the sides. Remember to create vertical folds by not bunching the blanket under the mattress.
- Fold the portion of the top sheet that you left loose back over the blanket. Tuck the edges under the mattress to form a neat and tidy appearance.
- Place the pillowcases over the pillows and put them aside.
- Et voila! A bed that you can now mess up to your heart's content!

How to Grill Fish
There are easy ways to barbecue fish. You do not always need foil paper, or special tools. Cleaning up is fast also, with nothing to toss away, or wash.
- Fillet fish and make sure you get rid of all the bones.
- Leave the skin and scales on the side after you remove it from the fish.
- Prepare your flavorings. Heat the grill until it is medium hot.
- Place the fish fillets back on top of the skin, scales down across the grill (this will help keep your fish from sticking to the grill).
- Apply the butter mixture with spoon or brush covering the entire fish.
- Cook it on the grill until the meat has turned white.
- Test for doneness by poking the tip of a knife into the center of the flesh. If it is opaque, then it is done. Do not worry about the scales and skin, the meat will come right out of that with little or no effort.
- Remove the fish from the grill as soon as the inside turns opaque.
- Another way to test for doneness is to stick a small metal skewer into the thickest part of the fish for about 10 seconds and then touch the end of the skewer. If it is still cool, the fish isn't cooked enough; if it is warm (but not hot) the fish should be just right.
- If you are using fillets that still have the skin on, you can simply cook these skin side down on a lightly oiled grill. The skin will be easy to remove when the fish is cooked.
- For flavoring: you can either use dry herbs and spices or an alternate method which is
a. melt 1-2 sticks (depending on how much fish you have) of unsalted butter
b. add two cloves of garlic and one half diced onion
c. add your favorite season-all and some fresh cracked pepper
d. saute until flavors have blended. - Try serving with
2 Tomato & Coriander (Cilantro) Salsa:
2 Beefsteak Tomatoes, de-seeded and finely chopped,
2 Medium Red Onions, finely chopped,
Juice of 2 Limes,
2 Tabsp Honey,
2 Tabsp Fresh Coriander/Cilantro, chopped,
Salt & Pepper. Mix all the ingredients together and serve. - To add a light smoke flavor to your fish, you may want to consider Golden Alder chips or chunks for white fish or Norther White Cedar for salmon. For charcoal, toss a handful of chips directly on the coals just before adding the fish. For gas grills, place chunks on grilling surface. When they start to smoke, add the fis
